Crown Darts in Flight to Major Bowling Tournament

The newly launched sport of Crown Darts continues its round of appearances alongside the bowling green with major tournaments targeted between now and the end of the season.

Crown Darts, which was launched at the British Crown Bowling Association's Club Championship in Shrewsbury last month, can be seen in action at five more major events in the crown green bowls calendar.

The first of these is the Isle of Man Bowling Festival at Douglas from June 11-15th, followed by the Veterans' Individual Championship at Rhyl on July 4th.

The following week, Crown Darts will take in the Veterans' County Championship at Centre Vale, Todmorden (July 12th) and later in the month will be at the Fleetwood Bowls Festival (July 23-27th).

Crown Darts will complete the season at the British Merit, Llay, Wrexham on August 4th.

Said the sport's inventor Jesse Brough; "After our successful launch at the club championship, we are looking forward to introducing Crown Darts to an even wider audience at these other major tournaments."
