Crown Bowlers Take Up The Mark The National Executive Committee and county representatives of the British Crown Green Bowling association are being given a presentation on the 17 March 2001.
Most bowling greens have annexes of grass beside them that can be used during social events and whilst waiting for your match to be played. Crown Darts also holds the advantage that it can be played on surfaces of lesser quality than that demanded by bowls. It can be played in summer or winter, at home or anywhere there is a social event. The British Crown Green Bowling Association sees the potential, along with its orginators, for Crown darts having a place alongside Crown Green bowling. The BCGBA have expressed an interest
in the game as the rules are not dissimilar to Bowls/. Crown darts is
seen to be very complimentary to Crown Green Bowls in getting you in
the right frame of mind prior to your bowls match, or helping you relax
and unwind afterwards.
