"...Great News for our North American customers…"
Up until now, we have not been able to supply our Crown Darts sets
to the US and Canada on account of Lawn Darts being banned there since
1987.
HOWEVER… Great News! People living in the US Citizens and Canada
can now order spare parts FREE to make up themselves and this does not
class as a set of Lawn Darts!
Since the launch of our real lawn darts brand Crown Darts, we have
had literally hundreds of e-mails from Americans and Canadians requesting
to purchase, only to be disappointed that the company Crown Darts UK
LTD held policy to not contravene any US or Canadian legislation, by
selling to customers in the United States and Canada.
Research into this legislation highlighted a way around the laws to
bring delight to many like-minded Americans and Canadians who miss not
being able to get supply of a lawn dart set. Until now. As from 12th
July 2004, the following procedure will not break any US or Candian
laws.
The procedure is to order from the www.crown-darts.com website as follows;
FREE Delivery! The postage for spare parts is incorporated
within the spares prices and for American and Canadian deliveries, Crown
Darts UK LTD will subsidise postage costs to pay carriage to the US
and Canada, if applicable, keeping the ordering simple.
First example;
If an American or Canadian client wants the equivalent of a Target Set,
he/she simply needs to order 4 x flights at £4.50 each(in two different
colours, from a choice of nine), 4 x 80 gram brass bodies at £3.00 each,
4 x stainless steel spigots at £2.50 each and a set of target rings
at £2.00. The total amount would be £42.00. (postage is included in
this price and subsidised/ supplemented by Crown Darts UK)
Second example;
If an American or Canadian client wishes to purchase the equivalent
of a Compendium, 9 x flights, brass bodies and stainless steel spigots
need to be ordered, together with a set of target rings and a delivery
mat. The total amount for this would add up to £94.00, inclusive of
postage.
Remember. You can choose what ever quantity and colour you wish for but make sure the amount of flights to brass bodies to stainless steel spigots ordered are the same.
Crown Darts will include all necessary paperwork in the parcel, ie. Rules to the games, guidance notes and spares re-order form, in other words, the full leaflet information normally included in a set, and ship the parts in two separate parcels.
Once the customer receives these parcels, they can assemble the parts themselves. No US legislation will be breached
